Tims Delivery in the Tims app versus third-party apps, which orders earn Tims Rewards points, how availability depends on your address, and where to find refund help.

Tim Hortons delivery in Canada works in two ways. Tims Delivery, ordered in the Tims app, earns Tims Rewards points and can use offers. Third-party apps such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes deliver from many locations, but their orders earn no points. Whether either option reaches you depends on the restaurant and your address.
The official help centre points customers to Tims Delivery in the app when they want delivery. The app's delivery terms, including fees, minimums and the delivery area, are on Tim Hortons' own site. We could not read those terms in this check, so confirm them in the app before you order.
Tim Hortons' help centre covers delivery orders from DoorDash, Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes. DoorDash has delivered the Tim Hortons menu across Canada since its July 2020 launch, which covered close to 500 locations. Those orders go through the partner's app, which handles the payment, fees and tracking. Tim Hortons can't access these orders, so for a problem with one, contact the delivery service you used, and keep your order details.
Start with the restaurant. The Tims app's Restaurant Locator shows whether a location takes app orders: a red "Order" button means it does. Delivery is then checked against your address, so enter your address in the app or the delivery platform to see whether your area is covered.
Fees change, and the app or delivery platform shows the exact amount at checkout. A third-party guide dated May 2022 lists these figures for Canada:
| Item (Canada, third-party guide) | Amount |
|---|---|
| Minimum order for delivery | $9 |
| Delivery fee on orders of $9 or more | $4 |
That guide is old, and its page also says the figures apply "as of 2026", so treat them as a rough guide only. U.S. figures in the same guide conflict with each other, so we don't list them here.
Catering orders are mainly for pickup. Delivery for catering depends on the restaurant, so contact the restaurant to ask. For catering rules, see our Tim Hortons catering guide.
Mobile and delivery orders can't be cancelled once they're placed. If you can't pick up or receive your order, contact the Tim Hortons location right away, because it is the team that may be able to compensate you. Refunds for in-store and drive-thru transactions are at the discretion of the restaurant manager or owner.
If your delivery order is wrong, contact Tim Hortons Guest Care. In the help section, choose "Mobile, Delivery & Tims Catering Orders", then "Wrong Order". Provide the email address on your Tim Hortons account, a photo of the order you received, and the date of the order. For an Uber Eats, DoorDash or SkipTheDishes order, Tim Hortons can't access the order because it wasn't placed through the Tim Hortons app. Contact the delivery service you used to place the order.
Yes. Tims Delivery is ordered in the Tims app, and third-party apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes also deliver from many locations. Availability depends on the restaurant and your address.
Yes. The official help centre says a purchase made through Tims Delivery in the Tims app is eligible to earn points and applicable offers.
No. The official help centre says orders placed directly through DoorDash, Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes are not eligible to earn points.
Enter your address in the Tims app or in the delivery platform. Delivery is checked against your address, so the result differs between addresses.
Open the Tims app, select the Restaurant Locator tile, then Pickup or Nearby. A red "Order" button means the restaurant accepts mobile orders.
A third-party guide dated May 2022 lists $9. The app or delivery platform shows the current minimum at checkout.
The same third-party guide lists a $4 fee on orders of $9 or more. Fees change, so check the amount at checkout.
Catering is mainly for pickup. Delivery depends on the restaurant, so contact the restaurant to ask.
Not once it's placed. If you can't pick up or receive it, contact the Tim Hortons location right away.
Contact Guest Care: choose "Mobile, Delivery & Tims Catering Orders", then "Wrong Order". Send the email on your Tim Hortons account, a photo of the order you received, and the order date.
Not as a standing rule that we could verify. A 2020 DoorDash promotion gave $0 delivery fees on orders of $12 or more until August 9, 2020, and that has ended. The app or delivery platform shows the fee at checkout.
Contact the delivery service you used. Tim Hortons says it can't access orders that weren't placed through the Tim Hortons app.
This guide does not cover that. Check the help centre's Tims Rewards articles for the current rule.
No. Third-party guides describe different U.S. fees, and the U.S. figures in one guide conflict, so check the checkout screen before you order.
This is an independent guide, not affiliated with Tim Hortons, Restaurant Brands International, DoorDash, Uber Eats or SkipTheDishes. Delivery fees, minimums and availability change by location and over time, and the app or delivery platform shows the amounts at checkout. The fee figures come from a dated third-party guide. Points rules come from Tim Hortons' help centre. See Sources.
